You’re in luck! The Jack Pine Conservation Estate is the only location permitted for camping within the Kaladar Jack Pine Barren Reserve! Conservation reserves have a different management focus than areas with designated camping, and general camping is prohibited in conservation reserves that do not have specific campsites or management plans allowing it. The area is managed for limited recreational activities like hunting, and general camping is restricted to protect its natural values.
The Jack Pine Conservation Estate has prepared designated campsites for our guests who have a special interest in experiencing the landscape through our 188-acre parcel. Please refer to our Campsite Management Plan here which will expand on our rules and regulations for visitors.

Removing Natural Objects - Don’t: collect rocks, shells, flowers, etc. to keep as souvenirs. It is important to leave these natural objects where they are so that others can enjoy them
Wildlife - Don’t: approach wildlife. They may react defensively and they also gradually lose their natural fear of people. This creates a dangerous situation for you, the animal, and other visitors that it encounters.
